He keeps going, and going and going...
Reed is always on the go. He doesn't stay in one spot for long. He just has so much energy. When he finally does sit still to eat dinner, his day sometimes catches up with him. His eyes get heavy and before long he is eating like this...
Eventually, he climbs down from the table and makes his way to the couch where he ends up like this...
And when he is out, he is out. Nothing and nobody can wake him up until it all starts over again the next day.

And The Winner Is...
Trent's class was having a competition for the best Valentine box. Trent decided to create a box that featured pictures of "his sweethearts" (Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Miranda Cosgrove, etc.). Wanting the votes of the girls in his class, Trent also decided to include pictures of some popular boys (Justin Bieber, the Jonas Brothers, etc.). To top it off, Trent handed out Selena Gomez valentines. (Selena is by far Trent's favorite.) Trent's plan worked! His Valentine box won the competition!
And You Thought You Were Having A Bad Day!
Riley doesn't often have temper tantrums. But, when she does, she gives it her all. It usually looks like this...
And This...
And this...
Just as quickly as the tantrum started, it will end. And Riley will be back to this...
And This...
And This...
(The above pictured sucker may or may not have had something to do with this tantrum coming to an end. I couldn't rightly say.)

Snow Day
We had our first big snow storm of the winter on Friday, February 5th to Saturday, February 6th. We had nearly a foot of snow! Even though it was cold and windy, the kids enjoyed playing in the snow for a while on both Saturday and Sunday. When the parking lot at the Christian Life Center beside our house gets cleared, piles can reach 10-15 feet high. This is the boys' favorite place to play. They like to make tunnels and slides. Even when their faces and fingers are pink, we still have to chase them back into the house. Lucky for them, we are suppose to get another big snow tonight and tomorrow! They are hoping the forecasters are correct. Me, not so much.

Birthday Boys
Reed turned six on January 29th, and Trent turns ten on February 7th. Because their birthdays are so close together, Trent and Reed always decide to share a party. Their party this year was on Sunday, January 31st. Reed chose an Alvin and the Chipmunks cake and Trent chose The Simpsons. Grandpa and Grandma Suchland, Dina, Brad & family, Rod, Annette & boys, Jace, Alex and Braeden all came to help celebrate. We gave Trent a desk for his room. Other gifts for him included a Bengals jersey, PSP gift card and money. As a joke, Jace gave Trent some pink underwear. Never one to back down from a joke, Trent put the underwear on over his pants for the remainder of the party. Reed also liked his gifts. Reed received a couple of new games for his Nintendo DS, a Bengals and Reds t-shirt, the Gassy Gus game and "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" movie. The boys both enjoyed themselves and thought it was a great birthday!
