How do you say Trick or Treat in Spanish?

Dora didn't seem to know the answer to that either. She only said it a few times the entire night in English. Dora said she was being shy on trick or treat night. At least, she usually remembered to say thank you. Even though she wouldn't say Gracias instead as much as her Mami tried to get her to do so. She is growing up so fast. We took the wagon out again this year, but she insisted on walking up to every house with her brothers. The wagon came in handy at the end though. Once she was done, SHE WAS DONE. Need I say more?

Halloween Spirit

Halloween is like the Buckeye football team. It just can't be beat! (What's that you say? The Wisconsin game. We aren't listening!) This time of year, there is a lot of both Halloween and Buckeye spirit in the Howell house. We found a way of combining the two.

October Gave A Party

October gave a party.

The leaves by hundreds came.

The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And Leaves of every name.

The Sunshine spread a carpet.
And everything was grand.

Miss Weather led the dancing.
Professor Wind the band.
