"Hippity, Hoppity, Easters On It's Way"

We spent most of Holy Saturday preparing for Easter. Reed and Riley wanted to dye eggs so we dyed a dozen. The no mess kit that we used turned out to be the messiest way I have ever dyed Easter eggs. Ha! The colors turned out pretty though. We then moved on to making desserts for the Easter party at Grandpa and Grandma's house. We made peanut butter eggs, birds' nests (butterscotch flake cookies) and flower cupcakes. Trent, Reed and Riley all enjoyed making the cupcakes. They turned out really neat. The kids ditched me while I was finishing things up and had to do a zillion dishes. The weather was beautiful, and the trampoline was calling their name.
